Starstruck, Los Cristianos, Tenerife

I always give credit where its due, and this place is well worth a mention. Next door to the Slow Boat above Chicagos, Los Cris harbour, it looks like just another British bar / Eatery. BUT, the service is fab, excellent waiter, who even opened my can of diet coke to "save my nails". A real sunny guy, either he loves dealing with people or is a good actor. The menu is what you would expect from this type of establishment, but its all very well presented, and the fresh bread they use from the local bakery is to die for. They do a veggie breakfast too (you would be surprised how hard most places find it to have a pack of veggie sausages in the freezer) so extra points for that. And reasonable too, veggie breakfast, breakfast in a bun, garlic bread with cheese, 2 fries, cheese toastie and 4 soft drinks, €25. Will be back soon, before the waiter gets poached by somewhere else.

anybody who has not tried starstruck in los cristianos dont know what they are missing. it is situated next door but one to the card shop and opposite dannys bar. it is a basic menu but fantastic food. nothing is too much trouble for brian and his partner. give it a try
