| | Tenerife Bars & Pubs Reviews Tenerife Forum members reviews of the bars and pubs in Tenerife. |  | | 3rd February 2008, 18:56 | #1 (permalink) | | Super Tenerifian Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: originally Dewsbury now Callao Salvaje Gender: Posts: 350 | Bar San Juan, Playa De San Juan, Tenerife Hi folks just letting everyone know that the Bar San Juan in Playa San Juan is now doing Sunday dinners, the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly, you have a choice of three dinners, roast beef, pork, or turkey all with all the trimmings three veg, roast potatoes Yorkshire puds gravy etc, you can choose a large meal or go for a smaller version if your'e not too hungry, me and my wife always go for the small version just over 4 euros and believe me that is plenty for us, you can also add a dessert to your meal, the bar shows all sports events in English, and on a Sunday from 6pm untill 10pm they have a Sunday Sundowner where you can listen to songs from Stevie d ( excellent guitarist and saxaphone player and singer as well, plus i myself perform there where you can listen to country music, rock n roll and Elvis Presley, and anyone else who fancies getting up for a song is welcome to do so, (free drink for all singers), a word of advise if you want the Sunday dinners you need to book in advance as the bar is really becoming popular with the locals and is very busy, just PM me and i will forward the number of the bar on to you,(don't know if i'm allowed to put it on here) all the best, Jesse.    __________________ That aint tactics honey, thats just the beast in me To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Main meals Regular 6.95 Euros Small 4.75 Euros Roast Beef & Horse Radish Sauce or Roast Turkey & Cranberry Sauce or Roast Pork with Stuffing & Apple Sauce All served with Roast & Mashed Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, 3 Fresh Vegetables, Yorkshire Puddings & Real Gravy. Sweets 3.45 Euros Blackcurrant Cheesecake or Treacle Sponge or Apple Crumble or Spotted Dick All Served with either Cream, Custard, or Ice Cream if you are not that hungry then they also have a limited menu where you can get jacket spuds with various fillings starting at 3. Euros, various sandwiches with a small side salad from 2.95 Euros also hot baguettes from 3.95 Euros, all excellent food excellent friendly staff, and the drinks are very cheap, they are also now serving john smiths bitter on draft a very well kept pint.
