My wife and i were in las americas last week and went to the gaelic corner on the patch in las americas. It only opened in june 2007.
Its above the dubliner and has a brilliant terrace with relly comfy chairs. There is a keyboard player called andy boyle from scotland on from 9.30pm until 1.00am. People can get up and sing if he knows your song but its not like karaoke you need to know the words. My wife was always up singing and loved it and everyone in the pub seemed to really enjoy listening to her.
The staff are really friendly and good fun. We had a good time trying their "cocktails".
The only problem with it was theprice of the drinks. It did seem a bit more expensive than other pubs and i heard a few other people complaining about them.
All in all we really enjoyed our time in the gaelic corner and will be back. Has anyone else been in?
