The Piano Bar, Los Cristianos, Tenerife

Well,it's finally opened,The Piano Bar in Los Cristianos finally opened its doors
for business on Saturday 22nd September. Without any great fanfare they were up and running at 09:00 and had a steady stream of customers all day.
By Saturday evening we (my wife and I) were,along with many others,were in the bar to enjoy the music and the grand surroundings designed by Kristina (the owner)who worked so hard for this day.
At 10:00 Linda Day opened the musical entertainment with the kind of music that you can listen to,enjoy and still have a conversation without shouting to one another and if desired,a dance as well.( Thanks for a good evening Linda)
The bar staff were also working hard to please and for a first night,passed with flying colours.
To conclude,this is a classy bar/club and I hope it gets all the success it deserves,give it a visit.

Whereabouts is this piano bar? I used to frequent somewhere similar when I lived in Cheltenham and loved it!
Details much appreciated.

Hi C.I.M. The Piano Bar/Queens Club is situated in the Avda San Francisco CC El Mirador ie the big avenue that runs from The Charley bar up to Darcos bar
It is then in row of bars/restuarants starting with the Oyster Catcher up to Bo Jangles Hope that helps.

Now i know the lady who owns the piano bar has a lot of friends on this site however i do fear for the future of this bar,they have erected a gazebo right in the middle of the patio,it has chairs in a circle so when for example a family of four sits down no one else is going to sit inside,cannot comment for the inside because it just looks so unwelcoming,very rarely saw more than a handful of people in there

Have just arrived a few days ago from UK. Went to Queens Club after seeing posts on this forum. Had a really good night. I have been looking for a jazz/piano place ever since I started coming here. Now on my 11th visit.
When I arrived at 9pm there was a woman piano player/singer called Linda Day who is resident there from Sat to Tues. She has a great voice and kept up friendly banter with the crowd. A whole group of Swedish girls came in for their last night, obviously had spent other nights there and were warmly greeted. Really good atmosphere, good music but not too loud, so you can talk without yelling. About 10:30 an American guy called Mr D took over for a while with recorded backing which he sang along to. Excellant!! Good voice and funny too. Linda then came back with a tour de force from the 60's onwards. Had me singing along with a load of others. Really recommend the place. Thanks to the forum for pointing out this one.
By the way, they seem to be changing the name next week to the Music Gallery.
