It used to be a brillliant bar several years ago when Phil and Alan had it. They sold it on and it went downhill from there. It has now been closed for about a year. Infact the local is now empty so it is unlikely that it will ever be a bar again

Yip, it used be a good place. I played darts for the Viking but its shut down now.

I saw some guys in there the other day, so it looks like its being refurbed, hopefully it will be opening again soon!

TBH, I doubt it will be re-opening. There is just not the business in Silencio to sustain it. It was refurbished some months ago now and has been sat empty ever since.

It was gutted because a German lady was going to turn it into a boutique. After it was gutted she changed her mind and opened the boutique in Las Galletas instead!! Bet Jean-Marie was happy at that one. I haven't seen anyone in the old Viking, but I have seen people refurbing the Mannekepis (however it is spelt) which is a few doors up.
