was always a manky dirty dive way back 12 years ago and more! george himself looked like a very dishevilled character that would not have looked out of place in a dickens novel.

nah! i have lived here on and off for 20 years so i have been in just about all the bars through the years and seen many changes,but hey,this is a forum isn't it? or am i not allowed to give any type of oppinion on a cloudy sunless day? i have noticed a lot of TF,ers can't handle some things i write,but surely it is what a "FORUM" is all about! i will continue to write about anything i choose on this forum,well at least until someone has a paddy and denounces me to the powers that be!lol.
I also have lived here roughly as long.I have to disagree with you on your comments it didnt have lovley decor i admit no leathers sofas ect. But what it did have was Happy bar staff Miguel, scott, Jose,(early years) a few good comperes our own Liam O'riley later Mikey Mike, James. 3 acts a night.I had many happy days and nights there so did the Tourists who came back year after year , as for George he didn't care what he looked like he could afford not to as he had the fullest bar in los cristianos day and night.We are missing a bar like that where you knew there would always be a character to tell a tale or two,cheap drinks and happy staff.
