Is the Plaza in Llano del Camello open?
If so, could someone go out and take some pictures/write a report about it!

Sorry Yermanat22! We were there during the new year period and there was very little happening or change from your photos.
This is in the San Miguel Council Bulletin this week:

According to Victor Chinea, Mayor of San Miguel, "as a whole, the Public Square Llano del Camello, it is undoubtedly an outdoor space that not only modernity, innovation and accessibility, but from a point practical and leisure and recreation, establishing a stronghold only to promote sports-related habits, health and contact with nature. The proximity and connection to the Centro Cultural de Llano del Camello, also framed within the works of the Plan and its design and architectural barriers break with us to a future optimal use of it, completely linked to the initial estimates "
Juan Jose Casanova, Councilor of Works, has emphasized the words of Mayor and noted that "the development of the Plan Works in San Miguel de Abona has been completely satisfactory. Public Park Llano del Camello, near the Public Park BMX facilities and Enlargement of the Nursery, both in Las Chafiras have been completed as planned. Soon, the Centro Cultural de Llano del Camello, and the White Village, will finish and equip the municipality providing new and better infrastructures and facilities of individual and collective use "

Chafiras should hold its head up high. A fantastic new sports park had been built opposite Tenerife Self Storage in Av. Modesto Hernandez Gonzalez which is opening soon. Well done San Miguel!

Re: Las Chafiras Property Owners in Tenerife
Hi
I feel that I need to make a correction in to my earlier post, which I sent about mid january.
As the noise..those upstairs youngsters must have realised now that here lives others too, and they have quieted down considerably, and it is again all peacefull and nice now!
As well as over all, similary, maybe it was christmas visitors or something, but fackt is "the noisey" is gone, some lifevoices now and then, that is ok as it is just normal...
So i stand correcting myself and appologise if i shouted out too early...and sorry any incoviencesses for anyone else...
My flat is still very nice too... and if my plans wouldent be different I would most likely stay...
But yes Biltmore...thumps up.

Re: Las Chafiras Property Owners in Tenerife
Hope that it has stayed reasonably quiet for you, Blue-Eyed Gal!
Now WHEN will they get it right??? This week's Council bulletin:
15-02-2010 15/02/2010
The Municipality of San Miguel gives new telephone booths and Las Chafiras Llano del Camello.
The addition of new cabins is a response to several requests raised in past meetings of the "Let's Talk ..." in those population centers.
The Municipality of San Miguel de Abona, once reviewed the possible locations and service needs will provide the districts of The Llano del Camello Chafiras and two telephones support multiple model. In Llano del Camello be located at the confluence of streets and the Polka Suimasen Mencey Street, on the sidewalk next to the caskets there existing in Las Chafiras on Avenue Modesto Hernández González, in the vicinity of the Municipal Nursery.
According to Victor Chinea, Mayor sanmiguelero Consistory, "with the addition of two phone booths continue to respond to claims that we have raised in the neighborhood meetings already held. We are committed to the neighbors of San Miguel, and we are moving forward based on what we are being asked. There can be no doubt that participatory democracy is the best tool to ensure our good behavior. With the new telephone booths in Las Chafiras and Llano del Camello has become clear that no request go unanswered, or sterile "
The next neighborhood meeting will be held on Thursday 18 February in Costa San Miguel.
"A bar, a bar....our telephone booths for a bar!!!!!"
