just thought i would start a thread for anyone who either lives, loves or has bought in Abades and for anyone to put any information on here about Abades.

hiya loobie, we have bought in Abades, me and the family absolutly love the place. we hope to be moving out there some time this year, but as i have stated in another thread of mine we seem to be going through a rather spooky bad time at the moment, but it has not put us off in our eventual dream of moving there.
do you live there or have you bought also?

Hiya... yeah I've bought out that way and after pondering about it for 2 years, I'm finally moving out in September It is so chilled out there and the bars are sooooo much cheaper than Las America etc I'm looking to buy another property out there but yet to find somewhere as relaxed as Abades

yes it is a very relaxing place, can get a bit windy at times, which you have to be carefull about when sunbathing !!!. have you eaten at any off the bars on the front yet? or even been to carlos`s at night. if not i can recommend carlos`s the food is great.

Thanks for the info but I have been going there for the last 4 years and I love it It an get very windy but in the summer it can be very welcoming Did you know that the beach over the hill appears to be a nudist beach?? Well.. I think it is as every time I've walked that way, no one has any swimming gear on

yeah we knew about that other beach being a nuddie beach, me and the wife are regular visitors there maybe you will join us one day?

soz loobie, just my sense of humor must admt though there are many many nice sites to see in tenerife and the ones you see on that beach are not the ones you want to be looking at either before or after tapas!!!!

dont know when we over next yet.... but im sure the wife wont let it be too long. yeah i do do diving, i the one you see on the beaches stumbling with my gear and falling over the place
