Was just on ITV news that Spanish club CD Tenerife are under investigation for 'financial irregularities' and are facing a penalty points deduction which in turn will see them lose their promotion place to Hércules
Does anybody locally have more information on this???
As there is nothing on the marca site I would not believe what you hear on UK TV.Remember it was Sky that thought that CDT were already promoted months ago and there was still 4 games to play. Also Paul Merson thought that CDT were already in the Primera. When I read your headline I thought it might have been because of the crowd problems and was a bit relieved to hear it was only ITV's rumours. I am sure we will hear from Fred soon. Please put our minds at ease someone.

Fred Perry commented on monday that there are teams who might have to go down and Tenerife B may go up for financial irregularities. I would guess someone has read an article like that and mixed their information.
Have just checked the ITV News Channel on the web and there is no mention of CDT there
Nothing on sky news website either...

Why would it make the British ITV news? Is this a bit of mischief making or what. I've just done my daily news source searches and the story is not mentioned anywhere and not on BBC Sport.
