| Large brass Budda statue for sale in Tenerife I imported this from an ashram in India near Padhya Pradesh after my Yogic studies a few years ago. I am so sad to have to sell her but times have to move on. I hope it will go to a home where well-being is more than an ornament. It cost me around €1,550 and I am willing to sell it for 1,200 ono. The first to see her will buy Tara. Tara is a completely enlightened Buddha who had previously promised to appear, after enlightenment, in the form of a female bodhisattva and goddess for the benefit of all beings. Her 10 syllable mantra and the short tantra known as the 'Twenty-One Praises of Tara' spoken by the Buddha Samantabhadra are memorized and popularly recited by all Tibetans from the time of childhood. There are twenty-one forms of Tara. The two most important forms are Green Tara and White Tara. She is a female Buddha and meditation deity. and was believed to be born from the compassionate tear of Avalokitesavara. Green Tara grants power to overcome obstructions, fears and dangers. Tara represents virtuous and enlightened action. It is said that her compassion for living beings is stronger than a mother's love for her children. She also brings about longevity, protects earthly travel, and guards her followers on their spiritual journey to enlightenment.
