What is the main population & religion of Tenerife inhabitants?
I'd like to find info about the religion of people living in tenerife, more specifically what percentage of the inhabitants are muslim are there any mosks sorry if this question is very straightforward, but living where I do...I have my reasons:

The main population is catholic, however there is a christian church in the Apolo centre, Los Cristianos too. I haven't heard of any mosques in Tenerife, but if there is one I would tink it'd be in el Fraile where a lot of muslims reside.

I'm interested to learn about your reasons for asking this. Tenerife is primarily Roman Catholic like the rest of Spain.

1. He is muslim and wants to move to Tenerife , but if this is the case then why didn't you just say! (Thats one thing i love about tenerife is the no one looks at anyone differently like here in the uk)
or
2. He lives in an area full of muslims and wants to move away from them?
It would be good if we knew his reasons because if he reads the forum then he will see that everyone on here are friendly and openminded and they do not judge people

As he's from Antwerp, my guess is # 2. Muslims and immigration is what you might refer to as a "heated topic" in Belgium, which in addition is well known for it's scandals and deep rooted corruption, nice chocolate and manneke pis.

i know a lot of muslims who are ok i work with muslims, the're all ok bus wherever there are a majority...they seem to push people out and that's not my idea of fun!

well as this is an open forum perhaps juat an introduction might have been nice then you cauld have asked such questions once you knew who was who I am sure the Spanish feel we Brits are in there space !!!!
