Where can I buy full fat milk for my 14 month old in Tenerife?
Hi all, im hoping that someone can help me with a few wee questions. I'm coming over next month for what seems like the millionth time!! Only difference is that this is the first time we have brought our 14month old baby. Just wanted to ask about full fat milk, as thats what she is on at the moment. Can anyone help with the translation of this and also does anyone know if it tastes vastly different to the uk?

You can get full fat Cravendale from Iceland, or failing that the Mercadona sell fresh spanish Full Fat milk. Leche Fresca entera is what you are looking for. Tastes the same as the UK stuff.

Full Fat milk is called 'Leche Entera'. I would get the UHT stuff, as it's cheaper and lasts longer in the heat. My kids both had it and it was fine.
In Mercadona, you can also get some milk in the baby section which is called 'Leche Crecimiento' This is special milk with extra calcium and vitaminsw for growing babies and the clinics recommend it here. It comes in 500ml cartons, rather than the usual 1ltr, and is a bit more expensive, but it's really up to you... both types mentioned will be fine.
