I was in Tenerife a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the Bar Hawaii in Torviscas (just around the corner from McDonalds) was closed throughout my visit.

It wasn't really the type of bar I usually go for, but found the owners really friendly and without doubt the best cocktails on the island - two good reasons for a visit there, in my opinion.

Does anyone know if they have closed for good?

They may just be on holiday... a lot of bars close at this time of year for their hols, as it's usually quieter... either now, or at the beginning of December, or just after new year.

Yeah, the bar where my hubby works is closed this week, and I know of a couple others that are closed too.
