Yes, went to Masca last year. Beautiful place, but my legs are still shaking from the driving experience! Views are superb, cafe has excellent cactus juice, and it has an interesting museum.

Been there quite a few times. There is a restaurant just past the village up a steep hill from the little roundabout. Everything is home made and to order. The food is excellent as are the views.
We have driven there a few times just to have lunch. Well worth the scary road.
I've been there a couple of times. The drive is crazy along the winding roads, but as has already been mentioned, the views are spectacular. It's a lovely scenic place to visit.

It's not that much further on from me... so I'm used to the roads

My husband drove us (me and 3 kids) to Masca a few years ago. I have never been so scared in all my life. The drive up was like a white knuckle ride for me. I was hanging onto the door handle of the car and the kids in the back where saying ' are you scared mum, you know if the car goes over the edge the door handle is going with it ' . There's not exactly a lot to stop you going over the edge either, just those stupid little breeze block looking thingys. Having said that, once we were at the viewing point and my feet were on tera firma the views where breathtaking. Glad i've been but wouldn't go again in a hurry.
For some reason I always feel that the drive back out seems a lot shorter than the drive down into Masca. Does anyone else find that or is it just my imagination?
