Hi everyone! Im new to this forum by the way Me and my Fiance Kris will be coming over to Tenerife again this summer Yipee!(for our 4th visit ), we've only ever been on 2 excursions whilst visiting. We've been to Loro Park and have been on a catamaran, now that was an experience, we where both really sea sick, never agan!Ha! We would like to do an excursion this summer, was just wondering if anybody could advise us of anywhere to go? Have thought about visiting the Monkey Park........is it worth a go? I have never been to the monkey park but I can certainly recommend the Eagle Park. It is only five minutes up the hill from Los Cristianos and there are free buses from most parts of the south.

Here is a link to the website

A week ago I went on the Icod, Garachio & Masca trip, The scenery was unbelievable and breathtaking, but you would need a head for heights. Carole

I second this, it is an absolutely amazing trip to these places, even better if you are brave enough to hire a car.

Loro Park really is a must. I was sceptical, until our daughter visited with 2 year old granddaughter, providing the first excuse we'd had to go there. But it is BRILLIANT. And, of course, if Siam Park is open .....

For me, the trip to Teide/Las Canadas is simply unmissable. I used to work with a person who had visited Tenerife a number of times and I was totally amazed when he said to me one day, 'Isn't there a volcano or something there?' He'd never ventured further than the hotel pool.

Also, I agree the drive over to Icod, Garachico, Masca & Punta de Teno etc. is another unmissable. Another fantastic area scenically is the Anaga mountains in the far north beyond Santa Cruz.

I haven't been to Loro Park for a number of years but remember having a great day out there some years ago.

What about going over to the island of La Gomera.

If you are coming with a tour operator most do the excursion or you could hire a car and go by yourself.

There are loads of things to do the Submarine Safari or perhaps Teide by Night.
