Hi. If you don't mind paying a little extra, you'll probably find that your hotel will sell you an excursion. In fact just about anywhere in Tenerife seems to sell excursions to Loro Parque. You'll go in a comfortable coach and there's no hassle. Don't miss the shows and don't sit too near the front at the whale show unless you want to get very, very wet

Yes I do.

Most of us are here to help, I hope it hasnt put you off.

Some friends of ours went to Lorro Park in their hire car and said it was easy enough to find, although they said the car park was full and they had to park quite a way from the entrance. Alternatively, if you can get to Puerto de la Cruz town centre, there is a little train that you can get that takes you to the entrance.

Enjoy it, however you end up getting there.

We went to Loro Parque in September when we were over and really enjoyed the day out. We took a coach trip, but you need to shop around with these as the prices can vary quite a bit.
Don't miss the Orca Ocean display - it's fantastic!
Have a great day.

Yes, I do too. Especially when Thor is one of the worst spellers on this forum and if I chose to, I could highlight virtually every thread and pick holes in it... but I don't because it's rude and belittling.

Thor, there's no need to be nasty to people asking for help. When you ask for help/sympathy there's a flood of people offering their support.

dillonm, please don't take that one post as the general attitude of this forum, or Tenerife for that matter. Welcome.
