For me the best one is discovering the Teide
The worst one ... one day suntanning in las Americas with all the "red" tourists

Loro Parque is absolutely amazing. Go there or regret it. Their guided tour is excellent but you spend most of the time at the trot :-) Check out their website for a flavour of the place.

My Mood:
Went to Jungle Park last year which was good, but seemed a little run down in places. Noticed when we were over in March, more ads for Loro Parque so looking forward to a visit there in a few weeks.

hi all
well you have the following.
loro parque
jungle park(parque augillas)eagle park(all the same place)
the pyramids at guimar
tiede and tiede national park
los gigantes
santa cruse
auqa park(you can walk to this from las americas and save money on the free bus yes you can cause the bus ain´t free).
all the markets(see tenerife news for times and places)
ferry to other islands
fishing, boating, whale watching, dolphins, watching bald monkeys at the pool bar.
or get a bono bus card for 12 or 30 euro´s and go any whare on the island and explore for you´re self at low cost.
i don´t mean to be cheeky but tenerife is a lovely and interesting place you just need to go and look and try if you can to stay away from touristy places
go and explore you will enjoy you´re holiday more.
p.s. take plenty sun block where ever you go and most inportantly have fun and don´t worry.

Like the look of the pyramids at Guimar, but are there actually any excursions running there?

I enjoyed the tour of the island which included mount teide national park and the north of Tenerife the bus picked us up at 8.30am and we got back about 6.30pm a long day but worth it.

Wanna do island tour too and would love to go to top of Teide, but cable car a bit of a worry as I'm a bit claustrophobic. Is there another way?
