Will Tenerife ever get a theme park?

I have just thought, Tenerife has water parks and zoo's but does it actually have a proper theme/amusement park? For example something like Alton Towers,

I have searched on google but it just brings up Siam Park and Loro Parque.

Do you think Tenerife will consider one for the future? Would you visit it if it did?

I think it would be pretty cool to be honest. Probably popular too if it had 'Europe's fastest rollercoaster etc'...

What do you think?

don't really want anything as dirty as Alton towers IMO If you are looking for a great park, try the Warner Brothers just outside Madrid. Tenerife IMO is too small for a large thyme park.

I think it's a fantastic idea to have a theme park funfair type place in Tenerife! Not everyone visiting it would be from the UK there are lots of locals and residents that would go also im sure. There is a very small one here in Gran Canaria called Holiday World. It would probably take up as much space as a large waterpark and would be better in the north of Tenerife near the capital..I would visit if they had one. It would save me going all the way to UK to visit Alton Towers.

It has been rumoured that Siam Park as you see it now, is just the beginning and it will add further attractions, including a roller coaster at some time in the future.

Of course you are all forgetting Kinderland at Loro Parque. It claims to be Tenerife's only rollercoaster

And it's probably very scary if you're 4

I have always said that Tenerife is missing a Alton Towers type park. But as others have said i think they will intergrate a fun fair type thing to Siam Park.Like if you goto Florida then you goto Walt Dis if you go to to France you go to Euro Dis etc,so come to Tenerife and go to Siam Park.I hope they do Florida is along way to go for a good ride.

Whether they integrate one into Siam Park or build a separate park it can only be good for the economy of the Island. With the many comments on here about people finding this summer very quiet the more there is on Tenerife to entice visitors the better it will be for all. Plus of course I love going on the rides and screaming like a little school girl! (no offense to any school girls out there! )
