I've been exploring some of the coastal towns to the east of the airport. They are reachable from the TF1 motorway, and the other day, it was the turn of Salida 14 - the exit leading to Los Rocas
In case you were wondering about salida 15 - unfortunately it only exits inland!
Los Rocas starts strange. As you exit the TF1, it looks like there is only a huge petrol station and restaurant; but drive on, and you turn right for one beach, and left for the other. The TF1 is only 200 metres from the sea here, so it's a short journey!
I turned right, and ended up in a car park with jolly Spanish music drifting up from far below.
I looked over the wall, and 50 metres below was this stunningly beautiful bay with a small promanade, and fiesta bunting fluttering. What a sight! (see pic #1)
Los Rocas seems to be a small purely Spanish holiday village nestled between rocks (hence the name, I suppose) with small houses seemingly embedded in the cliffs all the way down. Walking down the steep steps, I could see that one home was literally built into the rock!
The pebble beach has a small rock pool alongside it, and a swimming ladder. The water looked quite deep, but there were quite a few swimming in the bay.
The 'other beach' was disappointing, being attached to an ancient-looking hotel/complex, so I explored further..
The coast to the east has a wonderful walking track (see pic #2) along the clifftop - somwhat like the one east of Palm Mar - but without any tourists

Beaututiful, unspoiled scenery - and not a coke can in sight!
Los Rocas then; beautiful enclosed cove with wild rocky scenery.
Panorama was taken from a crag overlooking the bay.
