There are some really pleasant garden areas near the post office in Adeje town. There's always plenty of parking available too.

I know you might think it "touristy", but the seafront of the El Duque area is really nice ... walks, gardens, stone benches to sit on & read or just stare out to sea ... and a winding sea path around to Fanabe

Try the clubhouse at Adeje golf course. Acres of green around you and a real chill-out atmosphere.

La Caleta doesn't feel too touristy to me. El Chiringuito is a nice spot to kick back.

playa san juan has alovely front with kids park and seating and full of locals.
