Are there any free or cheap Spanish courses in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife?

Hi everybody

Does anybody know of any free or cheap Spanish courses in Puerto de la Cruz please?

I have had some really expensive quotes.

Check out the Universidad Popular, just down from the bus station in Puerto.
I went a couple of years ago - 2 x 1.5 hr sessions/wk, 7 months, all for 60 euros!!
The Language centre is on the top floor (I think)

I would really be interested in finding out about the Spanish lessons as well. Coming to Puerto in 3 weeks time so will try and check it out. Sounds very reasonable. I have tried looking on google but not getting much info for the Universidad Popular unfortunately.
Looking forward to hearing how you get on.

Perhaps I should add that the 7 months is from about September to the end of April, as I recall. So you'll need to put your scates on! Best of luck with it anyway. We had a great time, and vowed to go back for the second year - but social things got in the way!

I should have added that the Universidad Popular is at:
C/Mazaroco No22, 5th Planta.

It's run by the Gobierno Adult Education Department 'CEPA'

The course is called 'Espanol para Extranjeros'.
