There is one at the Mercadona San Eugenio shopping centre at the street level near the escalators opposite the hairdresser it's a red photo booth there is another one at the Las Americas Estasur petrol station but if you want to ensure that the photo is the right size for a residencia (generally smaller than the UK passport photo) or UK passport application I would recommend that you have them taken at a shop Copy Centre in Los Cristianos near the Western Union office is good or any photographers.

As from January 2007 the specification and requirements for UK passport photographs has become even tougher and they will no longer allow any markings ie watermarks etc on the reverse side of the photo.

This may not be a problem in the UK, but it is proving virtually impossible in Tenerife. Has anyone had any photos for a UK passport taken recently that comply with the regulations. If so, where did you have them taken please? Preferably in the south, but if it means a day to Santa Cruz - well, so be it

Don't interrupt me when I'm ignoring you!

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

I had my childrfens pictures taken....and accepted....I sent them through UK...

My husband dose the Passport photos....he has done quite a few and they have all been accepted.

The 3 most recent have been sent to Madrid for the passport application.

When we had pictures taken in shops here they were to small.

Talking

a digital camera and a canon auto printer are acceptable as long as the photo fits the rules provided by the passport office and are of the fixed colour varity(not inkjet but photo prints) they will get passed.

p.s. you really need to get very good signitors thats is the real key.

p.p.s. the reason i say canon is because the can provide unwater marked print cartriges

If you need them done MiKe then we will be able to do them for you.

Many of the shops over do the pictures to small...they were fine for residencias but not for passport as they are smaller than the 35mm by 45 mm requirements.

Let me know if you need it done.
