I have seen guys selling (usually outside petrol stations) what look like lottery tickets. (ONCE) Are they instant win scratchcard type things or something else? Can someone explain to me how they work please?

Some have either an amount won or just gracias por tu contribution (sor something to that effect)

They do also sell the daily and weekly lottery tickets, usually these have a website that you go to for the results. Alternatively the day after the draw go back and hand him the card, he will feed it his machine and give you your winnings (assuming you do win).
