3G network for mobiles : Which is the best deal in Tenerife?

i have just been talking to a man from 3g about using there network and phone.he has quoted me for £35, 750 mins and unlimited txts.this is for use in tenerife.he has also quoted me £15 for a dongle with 100 hours of internet,40 music tracks and 200 video downloads (wouldnt be doing that though).the phone is a sony erricson k770i cybershot.sounds good to me is anyone else on this network and how does this compare to tenerife contracts.thanks annette

what company ? sound good infact a bit too good to be true ?? a friend had a 3 g dongle from vodafone he says it works well !!

i have just spoke with the company again and they said i would be on alcatel or orange,but still have the contract with there company.it does seem like a very good offer

Sorry I am a bit confused here 3G is a system operated by all networks,do you mean the company "3" (Hutchinson telecom)?. The £15 for a dongle with 100 hours of seems very very good.

I would try and avoid Movistar as they are part of the giant Telefonica network, I was with them years ago and had so many problems. Im now with Vodafone that are a lot better but they are all much the same because I think there is a law here forbidding big companies I.E Telephone service providers cutting each others throats. I do know a few people with the Vodafone 3G dongle for the internet and it works fine

think someone was trying to scam me.just been to carphone warehouse and they informed me that it would be £3 per mgb

it takes 10mgb just to get on face book.
i think they wanted me to sign the contracts for the 18 month phone contract and the 12 month dongle contract and then just leave the shock of the bills for me to deal with.
its so easy to be sucked into these telesales people i am so relieved i decided to get a second view,lesson to be had here.
i will want to use the internet asap when we arrive (2nd sep)so can anyone tell me the best way to go about it please.
we are renting for a month while we find our new home (rental)and there is no internet connection.is it wise to use the internet cafes,or look into a dongle there.
prob use skype when we are up and running.
any help and advise greatly appreciated.
