New resident discount rules for flying within Spain

According to Island connections today people are being refused travel on flights even though they are checking in with their residencias.
You now have to have the new certificado de registro de ciudadano de la union.
Spanair and binter are refusing travel unless you have this.
Has anyone been and applied for this as yet. I have an indate residencia and dont know what to do.
any info would be great.

yes and its very simple took us about 10 minutes at police station although we did have help before hand filling the forms in. They cost 6.80 and you get them straight away no having to go back in a weeks time like other documents.

I've got one of the green papers and I was told they never expire - until they change the rules again that is!

I booked on line and I travelled with Binter last week and just produced my residencia card, absolutely no problems.

We booked online with Clickair, and just showed our residencia when we checked in. That was 3 weeks ago. We didn't have any problems.

I would have thought a residencia would have been proof enough for anyone wanting a resident discount. Oh well, another bit of paperwork to complicate the issue.
