well, if it refers to sensitive skin, it is 'delicado'. The word for skin is 'piel'. I would assume therefore that you speak to an assistant and say something like, 'Necesito detergente para piel delicado. Mi hijo tiene eczema/piel seco/piel delicado/problemas de piel con perfumes y detergentes biológicos'.
Fabric softener is 'Suavizante' and washing machine detergent is 'Detergente lavado a maquina'. Eczema is the same in Spanish as it is in English (or so I've been told).

just a thought

you could google...hate that phrase..but...why not see what you use in the uk, and try find out the spanish equivelent product.....mercadona or not..then at least you will know what your looking for over here...just ask the question to the search engine...you may get some luck...then if you have to use mercadona when you get here..say you want the same as...but there own product? Does that make sense?

hi all!!

i was able to get some clothes wash from the mercadona "detergente pieles sesibles" that had no enzymes, perfume or colour in . had no problems with skin irritation , so i'll remember it for next time.

thanks for your help kirsty, and everyone else too!
