When i was about 13 or so i used to go to spanish school, after school, and most of the kids there were from Spain so they said "th", except me and a couple of others (who were from s. american countries), but when i was reading aloud something out of a book i accidentally said "athul" (blue) instead of "asul" (which is how i say it). I felt so weird. I just cant get with that sound.
