Can any Tenerife Forum member transalate a text for me please?

Hi all

wondering if anyone can help as this seems a bit worrying,
Yesterday i recieved 2 text messages and they state as follows ::

SCS Informa - ( here it said my full name) cita 21-02-08 a las 15.33 en C.E. TRAUMATOLOGIA en sala Traumatologia - CAE Mojon

Next one the same but with the date 11-02-08 at 5pm saying radiologia simlpe en sala RX -CAE Mojon

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as it sounds like ive been booked into a trauma / radioology appointments,, when not even been to a doctors or hospital

Is someone messing about its been sent from 7012 number is all it shows on my mobile

yes, it says you have appointments in the el mojon clinic on those days... how weird is that! did you ever see a doctor (your GP) about anything that would involve such an examination? i don't think they would text you this info for no reason. if in doubt, go to el mojon and ask what it is about, that you're not aware of needing any scans!
the number you got the from is the number from which they send you such appointment details.

thank you , yes very very weird, no havent seen a doctor here as just havent needed to, dont like the sound of this, do you know where this clinic is? thank you so much for your help, it confirmed what i thought it was, but why in a text, not a call or anything ??

I reckon it is just a wrong number .... one of my mobiles keeps getting messages (from CajaCanarias, I think) that my credit card has used ... message is clearly for the previous holder of the number

... quite often reminders etc are given by text - my dentist in Ireland used do that

No becuase it said my full name and ive had this mobile number ever since the move to tenerife, If it didnt say my full name on it, i wouldnt have taken it so seriously

and the mobile i have is a brand new mobile phone chip, was never used before

I have to say I find this a bit strange - how can anybody connect your name with your mobile number? Are you sure you have not given your name and phone number to anybody? Does your bank have this information, to pay the phone bill?

but it is sent from the Mojon number, as Cornflake girl posted...

I would check with your GP or reception at your local clinic.

el mojon is as you drive up from los cristianos into arona... it's a massive building on the right hand side. when you get to chayofa, follow the hospital signs there.
maybe the social security system is OVER efficient now? or they know something you don't know yet? just kidding. as kirsty said, go to reception or have a word with your gp.
