Question What is the Spanish for...

please could anyone help me I would like to do some baking but get in a muddle in the supermarket not knowing the Spanish for self raising and plain flour

Harina simple de trigo is plain flour. I don't know what self-raising flour is.

I'm pretty sure Self raising flour is "Harina con levadura" in Spanish

Iceland do Baking Powder, and I think I saw a pack in HiperDino Adeje the other day as well. HiperDino also do a great selection of nuts and raisins if you're making a fruit cake.

The harina de trigo is perfect for bread making, by the way (yeast available in Iceland)

I find it easier to just buy self raising flour from Iceland, its not expensive.
