Don't interrupt me when I'm ignoring you!

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

I like the 7 deadly sins - it's a good check list!

Just to give you an idea we had the outside of our house painted middle of last year. It involved stripping the old flaking paint off. Filling cracks, sanding down and smoothing over with exterior plaster. One coat of a bonding agent and two coats of paint, 1st slightly diluted. 6 full days work 170Lt paint. My house is large 3 stories high in parts. sq meter no idea.
They also did the hall walls which is 15 meters long.
Two men one very big ladder and extended rollers. Good job no mess and the men were OK.
We would have them back. Price 2000 euro + paint and that was on the expensive side, but we knew that.
Another friend of mine slightly smaller house but pebble dashed and not your small pebbled either! and the permitter wall one man big ladder and paint brush. 1200 euro +paint. Good luck P.S. cash in hand

My brother is a painter & Decorator over here and is finding it hard to find work. He has a lot of contacts in the building trade and they too seem to be finding it hard.

As a rough idea too, he charges €60 per day + materials.

Maybe when you come over you could contact me by pm and i'll give you his number and you can have a chat. Maybe do something together.

If he can't get work at 60€ a day it's worse than I thought
