Does anyone on the Tenerife forum know a good place to get my scooter repaired?
My scooter needs a new exhaust and a service and general check up. I don't like the dealer where the scooter was originally bought and also can't really spare the time it would take to use him as he's in Guaza.
If anyone out there knows how to do it, pm me.
No Kirsty, it's not diesel, it's a Lanvertti 125.

My son has a Lanvertti and he also does not like the dealer he bought .....no correction WE bought it from in Buzanada. He has used the place in Camella, just off the roundabout heading towards Cabo Blanco on the left hand side. His prices are reasonable but remember an exhaust may need to be ordered so you may have to wait a while.
We have now found a Canarian guy in our village thanks to my daughter and the many friends she has made here who actually builds his own bikes. He has done repairs for my son and even customised it for him at no charge other than for the parts. He refuses to take any money as he says that is what friends are for. I now find myself shopping for gifts for his 2 year old daughter as way of payment

Hi ! I have a scooter, which i have bought at Topacio in Toreviscas, they also do repairs. I have been content. I do not have the address, but it is just across the bridge form the new centro comercial. Phone number is.922716954
That is one of the places that my son used prior to finding this guy in our village. Had a repair done and within a week the same thing went wrong, when he took it back they told him it was not their problem and as he was only sixteen he should not be taking it there without an adult. Being only 16 didn't stop them taking his money though

I don't mean to pee on your bonfire redarrow, but I was told the Lanvertti's were sold off cheap because the company went under and there are VERY limited spares out there. I was told this by a dealer trying to sell me one!!!??. If I have the right manufacturer - the website seems to be up and happy.
My son has a Lanvertti and they are not what I would call 'cheap'. He only has a 50cc but it was no different in price to other makes.
He takes it to the garage in Camella on the way to Cabo Blanco if he needs any major work done. They never seem to have a problem getting the spares.
Don't know price of the 50's but, €999 for a motorway legal 125cc is certainly what I'd call cheap against other makes. A pal of mine bought a 50cc trials for €2,500 - so I guess its all relative. Mind - he sold his Harley 883 Hugger for €5,000 so what does that mean??.
Back to the original topic - is it a 125 4 stroke? Is it a hole in the exhaust? If so - I'm a dab hand with a welder (And I have one) so would be happy to help. If its a new exhast needed be cause the old one is shot, you may be looking at an aftermarket item - I have just made a couple of calls to biker pals who say no original spares were supposed to be available, the parent company having gone down. They may be stood next to me waiting to be corrected as well

My sons 50 cc was quite a few hundred euros more than the 125cc you mention
Anyway the place that I mentioned in Camella, Moto Sport and also the bike shop T Plus Motos in Buzanada opposite Odysea Gym will get you all the spares you need for Lanvertti's I said in a previous post that they may have to be ordered if they do not have them in stock and we have waited approx 1 week for an exhaust before now. Don't know why it takes so long as the main dealer is only in the North of Tenerife not North Pole
