IMO I do not think that this forum should allow people to advertise illegal jobs.
There has been plenty of criticism of "crap" employers on this forum who don't offer contracts, yet here is an advert doing exactly that. Even though it is in the approved format.

Last year I was fined €658, after a work inspection found out I had a gap of 5 days between the actual start date of an employee and the start date on the contract.
A simple error, but no allowance was made and I was fined, even though I had not deliberatly broken the employment laws. So it winds me up when I see jobs blatantly advertised with "no contract" which is patently illegal.

This is a forum to advertise jobs which is exactly what I am doing.
That is not illegal so please do not be so offensive.
We may offer contracts within the next 2 to 3 months if people are successful, but I will not write that people are offered an immediate contract when they are not, I would prefer to be honest.
This position is obviously not of interest to you so why reply.

Maybe you should edit the original post to say 'Contract : after a successful trial period' instead then, as that would not be lying, but would also be legal.

As I understand it, you are breaking the law if you do not offer a contract from day one of employment, never mind after a trial period. I daresay that that is the widespread practice, however I was fined because of a five day gap and I have been told that it is illegal by the work inspector. The initial contract offers a 30 day "trial" period during which the employee may be released without penalty if unsuitable.

I was told by the Inspector I could have been fined up to €6000 for each person deemed to be illegally employed. So the risk is yours to take.

he is right of course you are supposed to get a contract on first day of employment.

the 30 day trial period is included in the contract.

Fair point...

EVERY contract I have signed has been from day one and has usually included a period where either party can walk away with no penelties, but this depends on the type of industry you are working in.

We are in San Eugenio Alto, the bus stop is at the bottom of San Eugenio, about a 10 to 15 minute walk.
