General office person with some telesales duties required in Tenerife

Name of company : Delumen Islas Canarias S.L.

Name of member to contact : Ms Mani

Salary : TBA but NOT commision basis.

Contract : Full

Job description : Office administration person must be pro-active, competent, confident and able to work to own initiative. Daily duties will be dealing with business customers, answering inbound telephone enquiries and delivering messages, preparing mail, filing, data input, photocopying & faxing documents, Must have general office administration experience and be able to generate new clients via telemarketing (there will be a small amount of telesale duties per day)

Working hours : TBA

Working area : Tenerife (Las Chafiras)

Other information : MUST be fluent in Spanish both verbally and written, must be computer literate and have general knowledge of basic computer applications. Must be well presented and have an excellent telephone manner.

Why not just addvertise the job as a TELEMAKETING JOB rather than the subdifuse ?????

It doesn't actually! I only clicked into the thread because I thought it was an administration job! But its not, its tele sales which is a totally different ball game, why was it not advertised as a Telesales?

The job is for an office person, which generally entails administration work plus there will be the need to conduct telesales, telesales is not the full time position but an addition to the general office duties.

I have amended the thread title to reflect the telesales part, as people find it confusing.

I can understand that some office people may not be inclined to do any telesales. I am not sales inclined myself, so although I could easily fill any office position, I too would not apply for a job if any telesales was involved. I am sure there are others who would though, so now it's stated in the title, hopefully the OP will get genuine responses from serious applicants.

As it has now been established clearly that there is an amount of telesales involved (albeit small), I don't think it's necessary to dwell on the fact now that the title has been amended, so if anyone is interested in the position, please PM the OP as originally requested.

To clear up any confusion I have now edited the original post to detail the daily duties. The reason I have not advertised for a telemarketer is because the position is not solely for marketing, but a percentage of the day will be made up with telesales duties. The post is not paid on commission basis but of a fixed salary.

Once again only serious applicants need apply via PM.
