Re: Where are the best fish & chips in Tenerife?

Hi

If you want home made fish and chips in Playa Fanabe you could do a lot worse than the Pool bar in Yucca Park. its called Pablos and they do loads of home cooked food.

Re: Where can I get real, good Chips in Tenerife?

Being a northerner, there is only one decent Fish and Chip Shop in Tenerife and thats SCAMPI'S at the side of Compostela Beach, even the chip range says Nuttals of Rochdale. Fabulous food, good prices and excellent service ALWAYS. Have lived here for 15 years and the food has been excellent every time we ate there, they also do a take-away service. Your food is cooked when you order it and is not left hanging around in a warmer. Top class food.

latest from B/pool the Antique Empress ballroom roof has collapsed in, due to non funding, due to council spending all money on promenade developement, and stupid arty farty effects,.

The big problem is they all have to use frozen fish it tastes ghastly to someone used to fresh fish

Re: Where are the best fish & chips in Tenerife?

No sorry, you are all wrong, the best fish and chips are at The British Chippy in Coral Mar Sq in Costa Del Silencio...

I had them tonight on a friends recommendation and they were gorgeous.....

The Cod was cooked perfectly although with the size of it i think it was actually a Whale Fillet rather than a cod, delicious real chips and the peas were that mushy they told me they loved me three times on the way home.....

Will definately be back there but a word of warning, the Cod is more than big enough to be shared between two people so one fish and two portions of chips between two is ample!

And to top it off, they even came wrapped in newspaper!
