Cool Can anyone recommend any hip hop, reggaeton or latino bars in Tenerife?

Hi everyone, I just joined, coming over to Tenerife for a long weekend for the first time next month and staying in Costa Adeje----my question is does anyone recommend any good bars for HipHop Reggaeton Latino scene?

Someone told me there is a China White there? If that is true I will be made up coz we have one here in GC and the music is right up my street-Missy Elliott, 50 cent, etc.----

I want to avoid if possible bars that play music like DJ Otzi and all the usual holiday cheese as I have enough of that here in Gran Canaria....

Thanks in advance

The tenerife version is china's white so unlikely to be the same.
But still is a popular bar.

More people sit outside at the tables than actually go in.

Bobbys and tramps on veronica's play a fair bit of hip hop and do not tend to play the holiday stuff, and there is a reggae bar near the starco area.

Find some info for FARO nightclub near fanabe or LIQUID nightclub towards los cristianos, they are a bit more classy.

In my album there is a few bars.

For your Latino music you have to visit Casablancas Club in San Telmo, it is mainly Spanish and Cuban clientelle but a great night/morning.

Also I know it has changed it's name and I have not been there since it has but 20/20 [not sure what the new name is] on Las Vistas beach next to Players Lounge used to play a lot of Latino music and again consisted of mainly Spanish

You will probably have heard of Tenerife Internationaly renouned group - K-narias. MySpace.com - "K-Narias Official Site" - Islas Canarias, ES - Fusion / Tropical / Latin - www.myspace.com/knarias

Not my thing at all, how 50 cent played at The Download Festival I don't know. I am sorry but just hearing this music makes me run out of the room covering my ears, it is sooooo annoying. Each to their own. Have a good holiday.

PUNK-ROCK RULES!

This is exactly how "holiday cheese music" makes me feel lol, probably something to do with working in hotel entertainment in the past. Thanks

Thanks to everyone for the info and ideas, i just didnt want to spend my precious long weekend looking round for bars and then find them on the last night

Not sure but I think Faros is run by the people who ran "metropolis.

When that was first opened it attracted lots of spanish and italians and played some good stuff.
They used to have special nights, some weekends and the place would be rammed.

Not been to faros yet but if it is similar it should be good.
You will need to dress smart though to get in I would assume as they have people on the door.

And it is in walking distance of adeje.
You cannot miss it has a big sort of lighthouse on top that changes colour.

Enjoy, come back and let us all know how you get on.
