Hello, this is my first post please excuse any protocol errors. I'm coming to Tenerife 29th August for a week, staying in Costa del Silencio, and would really appreciate any local knowledge or info sources particularly on events (e.g. live music, flamenco, visual arts) and little-known quirky good places to eat and drink. I'm more into the 'silencio' side of life than a boom-boom party at las americas.

Having lived in Silencio for 7 years there is nothing very exciting going on there.

We have been told that if you go to Tenbel to the bars down the steps where the high tower is at the Silencio end of Las Galletas on a saturday night, there is great Spanish entertainment & dancing.

Not tried it yet as we are in the UK for a few months.

Please let us know on the Forum if you find anything
