Exclamation Laguna Park 1 Apartments, Playa De La Americas

Hi All,

I am new here so first things first HI!

I have never been to Tenerife before so this would be my first time going.

I am looking at booking a holiday with my girlfriend. This would be our first holiday away together. I am looking at going in March 2009. I have recently just got back from Magaluf and must say it was awsome! but that was a lads holiday, which my girlfriend was not happy about me going... but what the heck.... Anyway...

I am looking at booking into the Laguna Park 1 Apartments. I have read a few reviews online, which seem good however, there does seem to be an issue with people breaking in and stealing things. I am not sure if these are hoax reviews so I thought I would post up and see if anyone has stayed there or know anyone that has stayed there.

If you do not recommend Laguna Beach. Is there anywhere else you can recommend. I am looking to be close to the beach and especially some sort of bars as I do like a drink or ten.

Many thanks for your time.

Matt

It has a bad reputation, its cheap and chearful, about the same as most other 2 or 3 star places to be honest.

I did a few gigs there a few years back and the punters anlways seemed friendly enough. Always liked it, as they were normal working class folk who wanted to have fun on holiday, so it was always easy to do just that

Laguna Park 1

We have stayed here and laguna 2, Laguna 2 we had things go missing from apartment with all doors and windows locked, obviously someone with a key, reported to rep and staff, no one interested, may have been a maid we were told but this happened when maids had day off. Laguna 1 we had a good holiday and no breakins that we heard of, if your in the younger age group not a lot for you up this end, get accomadation nearear Veronicas for young and lively, or you'll have to taxi back and forth at about 5 euro each way, hope this helps.

Had relatives stay in laguna park1
they had some money and documents plus somegifts and stuff stolen. so i wouldnt recommend it at all as the staff do not want to know about it.

i would advise somewhere which is near the beach and near bars is the Noelia Sur hotel in Las Americas, away from all noise but very close to bars and beach also La Siesta hotel. these are near bars and beaches.

Hope this comes as a help to you. If you need anymore info. PM me.
Ive had family stay at those two hotels and they go back year after year
