Thread: The Queen's Club piano bar is opening this Saturday in Los Cristianos, Tenerife

    Thumbs up The Queen's Club piano bar is opening this Saturday in Los Cristianos, Tenerife

    Just to let everyone know, the Queen's Club is finally opening this Saturday. Lots of delays with workers disappearing, paperwork, all the usual Tenerife problems, but I think it's going to be great, the decor is beautiful, all the ideas are Kristina's, a young Bulgarian lady. The piano bar is on the right hand side of the road up to Beverly Hills in Los Cristianos, a few doors up from the Oyster Catcher. There isn't going to be a big opening night yet, just to make sure everything's ok first.Hope all goes well for Kris, she's worked so hard, she deserves it.

    I must admit, we were all convinced it was going to be a brothel, what with signs like 'QUEENS CLUB' and 'PRIVATE FRIENDS"

    It was only when I saw Linda Days poster that I thought it may be otherwise

    Thanks Uptown girl! glad my foto convinced you Queen´s isn`t a brothel! As I mentioned, Kristina is Bulgarian, and although she speaks perfect English, she`s not familiar with some of the idiosyncrasies (is that how you spell it?) of the language. Doesn`t realize the significance of `queen´s´,or double meanings of ´private rooms´.Hey, perhaps she does! Gets people talking about the place anyway. Thanks for all the good wishes, I´ll pass them on to her.

    Wink Queens club

    Hey,´Bout time we had another jazz club in Tenerife, locals need places to go as many local haunts have closed or are closing due to circumstances beyond their control and that is a very up and coming area, parking too, now that´s a bonus. I wish you well. Cheers, Bob.
