I have had my laptop in this shop for 5 or 6 weeks for a new keyboard, i have just got it back and its full of problems, they have downloaded limewire and various other junk thats making it crash, they told me it was my fault when i complained, they didnt even fit the keyboard properly and also said i broke it, do yourself a favour and use another store for computers.

I´ve seen Steve´s laptop and the state it came back in!! Absolutely unbelievable, how can people get away with this..
Here is a bit more information:
Star Talk International is in between PCcity and Las Afortunados at Las Chafiras..
It used to be called KrisPlus, before that 3C and even before that J.Roxys!! and to cut a long story short, the name changes are probably due to the very bad reputation they got!!
They have gone from 4-5 shops to just the 1 in the south!! goes to show.
Steve uses his laptop for his business, it has all his important work on it and for 5-6 weeks he had no access to any of his files as the laptop was supposed to have been sent up north for repair (were sure it never even left the shop).
The only problem with Steve´s laptop was a few keys never worked or got stuck. and the keypad needed replacing.
Steve´s work could have easily been transfered to a usb stick and used on his home laptop or anther option would have been simply to give his laptop back and plug in an external keyboard till his new keypad had arrived..
and THIS THE AMAZING THING..
The laptop has been used by them during this time, we know this as limewire had been installed, rubbish has been downloaded, a vodafone usb modem was added, his laptop had been connected to their network caus the configuration had been changed.. and unbelievably VIRTUAL GIRL had been installed on his works laptop, these are types of software Steve would never use!!
The laptop came out worse than when it went it.
The laptop casing has been gauged when they have driven the screwdriver in to prise out the faulty keypad and the new one has been bent in one corner and arches in the middle, it doesnt feel right.
Unbelievably Steve was charged just under 100Euros, then told that he had caused all these problems even going asfar as saying that it was his fault the keyboard was like what it is..
This is a warning to all. Dont use these guys..You will regret it.

Steve kindly titles this post as: "really bad service"
I would have said, "ripped off and taken for a ride".. kind of thing!!

This thread seems to have gone from a helpful warning thread to a witch hunt, i'm sorry but is it only me that is wary when a new member joins the forum and their very first post is a rant about a business?????![]()
