Not sure if you mean me? I have a funny feeling you do mean me so i will reply anyway!

Depends if the rock swallows you before you summon enough fight to fight the rock!
If you have enough resources to fight the rock then you will win which i am sure you will have, having property over here and a daughter you have to provide for!
If you are alone and scraping a living then yes it is a close call some times and i for one have been gobbled up by Tenerife and somehow managed to scrape a life out of the doldrums called existing in Tenerife which is what me and my family are doing at the moment.
Between us we have three jobs, me two, and my wife one and we are scratting around for the rent, I don't plan doing this long term!
It will get better, it has to and if it doesn't then another Island will benefit from our presence failing that we are thinking of moving to Puerto De La Cruz!
It might be better or worse we don't know but it would be a change that's for sure!
