Have just read on another thread that Loz, landlord of the Beer Engine has passed away. How very sad, lovely man, he will be greatly missed.

Thanks to Lynn, Peter Raynor and Young Golfer for bringing it to our attention.

I will be out on Wednesday the 10th and would be grateful if you could let me know when the funeral is? Loz was such a character and will be sadly missed.

God rest his soul.

I heard about this yesterday, but didn't feel it was right to post it myself, as I didn't know him.

A tragic event and my thoughts are with his family. I'm so sorry.

I have merged the posts from the other thread here, so now they are all in one place.

This is awful. I didnt know him but it looks like he was a really nice guy. How sad. Thats the third person in 6 months that I know of, poor Kevin Kay, 50 in March and Scotty, a character on the Golf a few years ago, only 41 years old killed himself last month. Whats going on?
