well like most papers here in tenerife its about making money more and more papers now are giving good prices on half and full page advertising they too are no doubt finding things tough right now.

got the paper in front of me now i find the fact they have a full page on naked lap dancing which i dont think is right for a holiday maker or any one to see come to that,oh and back to that subject again beer for a euro.

Yeah, I saw that Red Arrow. Whilst I was reading it I was thinking, great Ryan air are flying from the London area now to Tenerife South. The I saw that the flights are to Agadir, well, how can that benefit us?

It all boils down to one thing.... money.Canarian weekly are reaping the benifits but, as we can all see this type of advertsing is not helping Tenerife.
I beleive that local papers should do just that ... BE LOCAL and support local business etc not try to send folks somewhere else.

My opnion only though and i would not be surprised if they were not advertsing on Oasis radio too , as the two go hand in hand.
