What do forum members recommend for an 18th birthday celebration in Tenerife?

After several good holidays on Tenerife (Costa Adeje Area) over the last 8 years we have decided that it would be the ideal place to take our sons (plus girlfriends) for the weekend for their 18th Birthday.

We are all booked up and plan to spend a fair amount of time in our favorite bar In Porto Colon but where and what would fellow TF'ers recommend do to for an 18th Birthday Celebration.

We have done the touristy bits, Lorro, Tiede, coach trips, Freebirds.

What we want is something special for the guys to remember, so any suggestions??

How about hiring a private boat to take you out?? We usually take a small vessel that can carry up to 10 peeps. Just us and the skipper, and they will take you anywhere you want.

Another option is the Teide by Night, but considering their ages, I can't see that this would float the boat of 18 year olds...................

Or how about a treat overnight to La Gomera and the Tecina hotel.......

Or totally go mental, get some tents and go camping up teide (you will need a permit though) now that would be memorable, a night under the stars on a volcano.

Or if you don't want to go down the permit route, go to the beach front such as spaghetti bay. We love it, a group of us, IPOD, no distractions from the television, and its actually good to get everyone talking. Beer bbq......etc etc

Or, treat yourselves to a night in a rural hotel, how aout the one up teide, or there are the Spa hotels in Vilaflor

For my wedding anniversary, I did the DOLPHIN PLANET at Aqualand which was amazing and very memorable...............

Some good ideas but not really the sort of things that teenagers might enjoy.

I certainly wouldn't enjoy it on a boat, never been on one anyway and not been ill!!!!!
