does anybody know wether i would be able to padlock my hand luggage that i am taking on the plane with me when it goes through the x ray machine.whats the weather been like the day comming out on friday first time on plane.

I would of thought so, as long as you had the key on you and would unlock it if they asked you to. Can't see how it would matter if the bag was locked or not as the Xray machine will pick up whats inside anyway.

No problem about locking it ... you will have to take out a laptop and put that through separately.

it would be one that has a combination and not a key just that the last time my brother came back from tenerife he was - one thing when it came back through the x ray machine at the tenerife end and thats why i am asking if i can paddlock it just the usual stuff putting in.
