Does anyone know what's going on with all the marine activity at El Duque beach?

For the last couple of weeks there has been a great deal of marine craft activity, approx. a mile off the El Duque beach. All manner of boats like the Glass bottomed boat & Peter Pan & many others just hanging round. Is there something special in the sea in that area at the moment ?
