| The mileage is important with new cars, or at least it is with Renault at Guaza. I bought my new car in January 2007. This January I took it in for the first service. As there were only some 4000 kms on the clock they told me it would not need a service for another year on the basis of 10000 kms or 2 years. HOWEVER, they also said even though it did not affect the service history, the smart move was to have the oil & filter changed now. So I went to the cafe round the corner & had a coffee, came back & it had been done for 38 euros. DOUBLE HOWEVER with knobs on however. That is the one & only thing Renault at Guaza ever did right in the entire transaction. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. never ever again. |
