    Property Letting Agents in Tenerife - are they regulated?

    Can anyone help with this enquirey, is there a regulatory body for property agents in Tenerife and if there is would someone post details ie phone number email etc,

    There is little meaningful regulation of estate agents in Tenerife.

    They are mainly trade organizations with codes of practice, rather than 'regulatory bodies'

    It sounds like you have a problem - if this is the case feel free to PM me

    OK - this enquiry is regarding 'letting agents'.

    Totally unrelated to this incident, it's worth mentioning that if you are using a letting agent, make sure that you are dealing with an 'S.L.' or 'S.L.U.' company. That way you know that you are dealing with a legal registered company.
