Hello, yes,i'm one step closer to arriving,The thing is...I would like to stay in a few different places on Tenerife,a few days in the south on the coast,up in the hills, and then the north. If i wait till i arrive ,will i be able to find places to stay as i move around ,or should i book in advance? Any information would be welcome,Thanks.Mark. | | | 21st January 2008, 20:04 | #2 (permalink) | | Tenerifian Join Date: Jan 2008 Gender: Posts: 131 | Quote: Originally Posted by markallen5 Hello, yes,i'm one step closer to arriving,The thing is...I would like to stay in a few different places on Tenerife,a few days in the south on the coast,up in the hills, and then the north. Thanks top1977,for your reply, yes i have been looking at the forum,But i still haven't found out if it's easy to get hotel rooms on a nightly basis,as i travel around, maybe it's me just being a bit thick! I get the feeling that most people pre book before they arrive,If i have missed specific threads regarding the information i'm looking for, perhaps you could point me in the right direction! Thanks anyway for taking the time to reply. | | | 22nd January 2008, 12:42 | #4 (permalink) | | Tenerifian Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: UK Gender: Posts: 223 My Mood: | Best to book accomm before you go but yes hotels do nightly rates. | | | 22nd January 2008, 14:58 | #5 (permalink) | | Super Tenerifian Join Date: Nov 2006 Gender: Posts: 519 | Cant see you having any trouble at all finding places to stay here at this time of year, though you need to decide what sort of accomodation your looking for, ie hotels, B&B, and there locations, and how to get there. Research would be wise before you come, just so that when you land, you have some idea of which direction to head. Saying that, i have landed in countries and booked accomodation at the airport. Im not sure how the Tenerife airports cater for that sort of thing though, as most travellers here tend to have accomodation booked prior to them landing. (9am to 9pm, allegedly, but this is the Canaries...). It would probably make sense to give them a ring before you arrive (they speak English of course) - the number from the UK is 00 34 922 39 20 37. Here are the contact details and opening times of all the tourist offices on the island (it's in Spanish but the numbers are the same!). Best of luck. __________________ Nil illegitimes carborundum... 1 bed apartment to let in Callao Salvaje To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
