There are certain things that you have to watch out for on this island! So many people here trying to rip you off. In our 5 years here this has happened quite a few times to us. People you think you can trust, you just canīt so just be careful. But it is true. The biggest con of recent times that I was aware of was Sonia Baness ... a nice, smiley, pretty Essex girl.
Timeshare ... mostly English. Crap "builders" ... mostly English.

Have any of you had these experiences over here? | We hav'n't come across that problem yet, but there is still time - The English builders, for example we are using are great, and of course Janet, who has calmly helped us through the mine field of house purchasing -but maybe we have been lucky. And of course our source of finding people has been recommendations through the Tenerife Forum.  __________________

I think these are the people who spoil the Island and should just move somewhere else and let the genuine people enjoy this beautiful Island without being ripped off. What was I saying about karma?
