I use fabric sourced from all over the world and in my opinion its all the same.Don't forget to use centimeters and any fabric shop worth its name if you provide the measurements will work out the fabric for you.You have to take into consideration the pattern match if there is one.PM me if you want any more help,send me the measurements and I will give you an approx idea of how much you want.I look at all the curtains in hotel and they all seem to be the same width as the UK.Olly
